About Loblolly Preschool
Loblolly Preschool was founded to bring an innovative, nature-based approach to early learning in Fairview and its surrounding communities. Our programs focus on fostering curiosity, independence, and a love for nature through hands-on exploration and creative play.
A unique highlight of our preschool is the weekly nature hikes on our very own “Loblolly Loop” trail. This outdoor experience allows children to connect with the natural world while developing physical, social, and cognitive skills. At Loblolly Preschool, we believe that learning is most meaningful when children are active participants in their own growth.
Loblolly Expansion Updates
March 5, 2025
Loblolly Expansion is well underway. The new building is in place. Plumbing and electrical is complete. The front entry into the new building is in the final stage of completion. Fire Marshall has approved everything to this point. The security system will be installed soon. Up next is the fence installation.
Incoming families will begin tours the week of March 10th. New teachers have been hired and are completing training and state onboarding requirements. Stay tuned for more details.

Programs at Loblolly Preschool
Toddlers (Seedlings) | 2 years old
Our toddler program nurtures young learners by encouraging exploration and discovery. Through sensory activities, creative play, and social interaction, Seedlings develop foundational skills in a supportive and joyful setting.
Pre-K (Saplings) | 3 – 5 years old
Our Pre-K program prepares children for kindergarten with a balance of structured learning and open-ended exploration. The Saplings program includes nature-based activities, early academics, and opportunities for social-emotional development. Every day is an adventure as children engage in thematic projects and outdoor learning.
